PLU Football is back! Crowded stands and awesome chili, FANTASTIC sideline enthusiasm, and terrific play on the field. SO much fun to photograph!
I cannot express well enough my sincere thanks to Coach Brant for the opportunity to document this season. When we met early this year, he knew that this squad was special. Taking a chance with an unknown Dad with a camera must have been risky. And I hope that I exceeded his and the team's expectations.
To the players, THANK YOU! You allowed me to crawl around, stand on tables, and invade your space to photograph you in action. I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone of you, watching you through the lens, and celebrating your achievements this year. I have missed A LOT of action shots because I end up cheering for you. Yesterday, I was on the opponent's sideline and I got the WORSE glare from the UPS coach when I yelled for Max's sack - oh well :-) Thank you players!
Parents, well done! You have every right to be very proud of your sons. I have witnessed the best young men I've ever been around demonstrate faith, teamwork, and loyalty on a weekly basis. The coaching staff is not only developing a solid football program, they are building mem that you and society can be proud of. Thank you for letting me photograph them in action.
